Fi_Nil Project

Finil_ Project. An acronym for ”Future Inspiration and New Ideas for Life," this project, dedicated to music and art, was launched in 2020. Composed of enthusiasts of electronic and experimental music, it is open to collaborations with musicians from a wide variety of genres, as well as with leading figures from other disciplines. FI_NIL Project’s first release was “Rebirth from the Sea,” consisting of three tracks, or movements, conceived during the 2020 lockdown. The three movements—“Intro,” “The Blue Pavilion,” and “Ship in the Fog”—were designed to offer the listener a personal moment of ‘meditation’ and “recreation.” The initial concept was that each track should not exceed five minutes, making it accessible at any time of day, wherever one may be. In February 2021, FI_NIL Project contributed to the compilation “The World Sideways,” launched by the Synth Cafè community, with the 12 tracks selected by the Berlin-based label One Instrument Records. At the end of 2021, the track “Where Are U Now?” was released on YouTube, a collaboration between FI_NIL Project and the Venetian musician and guitarist Mattis. In 2024, “Marco Polo Suite (Sound Notes)” was released, a tribute combining music and graphics to the great Venetian traveler, marking the 700th anniversary of his death. Also in 2024, the track “Sunset on the Beach” was released. In 2025, “Tramonto mediterraneo,” a track created for the “Ambient Night for Ambient Days” event, aired on Silent Radio (www.silentradio.it) on Thursday, June 26, 2025, at 9 p.m. Conceived on a terrace overlooking the sea in a bustling Mediterranean city, featuring a travel-inspired instrumentation.
